1st Indian client order received – Bajaj Auto Pune PT-ED line for scooter.

1997

Win big orders from Maruti Suzuki Gurgaon Paint Shop 3 by global bidding. TEI also booked Honda Siel Car new paint shop order and Hindustan motors Mitsubishi Lancer project, this was challenging project but were successfully executed by TKS-TEI

Purchased TEI Udyog Vihar factory and in 1998 started locally some control panel assembly for cost reduction, schedule & quality control which were otherwise imported from Japan.
Manufacturing of control panel is the key equipment of the paint shop & TEI was facing difficulty when getting control panel from Japan, therefore TEI decided to manufacture control panel in-house for cost reduction & control the project schedule and quality of the project. Since then TEI has manufacturing control panel in-house and there is no serious problem related to control panel. This was one of the important achievements of TEI.

1998

IMT Manesar new industrial area was developed by Haryana State Government. TEI purchased 1 acre land in IMT Manesar to set up electrical control panel mfg plant.

1st robotic line order received from M/s Bajaj Auto 3W robotic painting line for auto rickshaw in Aurangabad.

1999

Received order for complete plant & various special purpose machinery high precision erection from M/s Denso Haryana Pvt. Ltd & TEI could do successfully & build good reputation in Japanese society.

2001

Started TEI Manesar Control Panel Mfg. factory resulting into cost reduction & customer service & satisfaction.

2002

Shifted TEI office from New Delhi to Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon.

For 1st time received order from 100% Italian company - M/s Piaggio Vehicles 3W painting plant at Baramati, Pune.

2003

TEI made more aggressive approach to book local orders & develop new clients like, Motherson Sumi, Varroc and also booked order of UK based company M/s Terex Vectra Noida, India for autophertic painting line, plant was commissioned successfully.

2004

For 1st time successfully booked order from Indian Railways for Coach Painting Plant in Chennai India. This has given lot of recognition & high brand name to TEI.

2005

Booked big order value from India's largest manufacturing group M/s Tata for their car painting plant in Pune.

2006

Received big order value from Maruti Suzuki Auto India Ltd. for their 1st plant in new Manesar factory.

2007

Purchased TEI Pune factory land. This has given opportunity to TEI-TKS to diversify.

Started TEI conveyor work & together with TKS Japan booked Tata UTK New paint shop project of big order value.

2008

TEI set-up Pune factory & started production with high capacity special Laser Machine from Trumpf Germany to undertake high precision fabrication work from multi-national companies in & around Pune.

TEI Manesar factory acquired ISO 9001-2008 certificate for Electrical Control Panel Mfg.

2009

TEI Pune factory acquired ISO 9001-2008 certificate for manufacturing of equipments.

2010

TEI set up separate conveyor division to improve due to conveyor high price many time TEI not able to book order.

2011

TEI –TKS booked 1st time German company order of M/s Daimler Chennai.

TEI Pune factory got welding certification of EN 150852 from TUV Rheinland Germany.

2012

TEI Pune factory got audited & qualified by M/s ABB Sweden for their global fabrications requirement, and started export of fabricated oil transformer tanks to ABB Sweden.

TEI started new sheet metal fabrication factory in Vadodara.

2013

Added further new manufacturing shop in Pune factory as continuous expansion activity

Started TEI Green Technology Division (GT) by strengthening organization & deploying Japanese staff.

2014

Purchase & construction start of new TEI office at Plot No. 26, Ph. IV, Udyog Vihar industrial estate for meeting expansion need.

Special purpose vehicle formed by TEI and M/s Ganon Dunkerley by signing JV agreement specific to project of RVNL for their new railway workshop, Varanasi.

2015

Taikisha Engineering India Ltd is convertered into Taikisha Engineering India Pvt Ltd with effect from 27-Jan-2015 as per Registrar of Companies (ROC)
